Why you ask? Because Landon is talking up a storm these days and is providing stuff that's way better than his momma's silly captions.
Santa brought Landon his very own "vroom vroom like Papa's" for Christmas and to say the kid loves it would be a gigantic understatement. To say he loves "sicles" (popsicles) is an even bigger understatement...he's also into saying things are "boke" (broken) if they're not turned on and he doesn't know how to turn them on or if the batteries are dead.
So, today when Dada picked Landon up from Nana and Papa's he wasn't in the best of moods...he either didn't nap well at school or he was just feelin' the grumpies...we all have those days, right? Dada recapped this conversation for me when I got home.
Upon getting home from Nana and Papa's:
Dada: "Landon why don't you ride your vroom vroom for a while."
Landon: "ok."
Landon: vrrrrooooommmm vrrrooooommmm - all around the obstacle course he created in the house and then stops in the kitchen where Dada was.
Landon: "I want a sicle"
Dada: "No, you can't have a sicle."
Landon: "I want a siiiiiccccle!"
Dada: "Okay, after dinner you can have a cicle. Now go ride your vroom vroom some more."
Landon, while pretending to push the button to make it go looks up at Dada and says: "It's boke. I want a cicle."
Dada (while surely trying his hardest to suppress loads of laugher), Landon, it's not broken.
So, Landon clearly understanding that his little trick didn't work, took off giving Jim a very mischievous grin on his way by!
You probably had to be there - I wasn't but the way Jim told it cracked me up and I had to write it down so we'd remember. I think we have an ornery guy on our hands and we love every minute with him!
