Easter 2010

We had a great Easter with Landon this year! We went to an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood the weekend before Easter and during Easter weekend Landon got his second hair cut, had his pictures made with some real bunnies and we dyed Easter eggs. He's a little young for dyeing Easter eggs but mommy and daddy had fun with it!

The Easter Bunny came to visit us this year too! He brought Landon lots of goodies and he even brought Dada a treat too! Dada gave up sweets for Lent and I gave up Diet Coke. Dada enjoyed his Reese's peanut butter egg and I enjoyed my Sonic cherry vanilla diet coke! After Mass we went to the Hankin's house for brunch with the family. Mary Haven hid eggs for the babies and Hannah was the big winner! They are so much fun! It was a good day spent remembering what Easter is all about!

Hurry up Dad! I've got some eggs to hunt!
(Check it out! Landon's Easter Basket is bigger than he is!)

Cool eggs mom!

Haha...this bunny is cute and is about to get away!

Tell me again why this egg should be any other color than white?

Okay, I guess the bright colors are better than white.

Look what the Easter Bunny brought!

There's something in this egg...what is it?
(the Easter Bunny left mommy some mini Cadbury eggs! yummy!)

You want em, Mom?

Bubbles? What do they do?

Woohoo! How did the Easter Bunny know that this is exactly what I wanted?

Is it a duck or is it a rabbit?!

MMMMMMM...a chocolate bunny!
How do I get into this thing before my daddy eats it all?

My Dada says I need to learn how to tie a tie for school!
He's pretty good at it and I kinda like him.

And last but not least...the second haircut "fauxhawk"!!

Wye Mountain

Until a few years ago I never even knew such a place existed. Jim and I like to go on drives and I love that he knows so much about this area. I learned about Wye Mountain during one of these drives and the minute I saw it I decided that when we had kids taking their pictures there during the daffodil festival would become a tradition. We kicked that tradition off a couple of weekends ago! It's amazing! They have a craft barn and bbq and people come from all over this area to take fun pictures in the flowers. We got there just before a storm came through and I'm so glad we were able to start one of many fun traditions with our little guy. I took my new camera and in 20 minutes time I took 230 pictures! Here are a few of our favorites.
