Happy Halloween from Elmo and Friends!

Landon's second Halloween was so much fun!  Today we went to Miss Lily's 2nd birthday party and then we went trick or treating.  Our first stop was Nana and Papa's house and then we stopped by to see our friends Amy, Neal and Kate and Emily, Ryan, and Audrey.  Then we came home to trick or treat with some friends on our street.  We practiced saying "trick or treat" with Landon and he had it down...but didn't quite get it out when we went door to door.  He had a big time though and especially had fun helping us hand candy out to the kiddos that came to our door.  A couple of "martians" were some of the first to come and Landon didn't know what to think about them!  After they left he peered around our stoop and said "Who was that!?".  It was so funny!  When I was giving him a bath someone came to the door and he was so excited to help Dada give them candy that he let his own bath water out!  Here are some fun pictures from our day!

Capri Suns are my fave mom!  I'm glad we had some left from our party!  I'm going to need some energy for our big day!

My trike goes great in our carport!

Pumpkin Tradition!

Jim and I carved pumpkins last night. It's one of my very favorite fall traditions!  We aren't too creative (however I prefer to say we're just very traditional!  Ha!) but Jim found a funny way to change things up this year with his upside down vampire jack!

Washing my trike!

Landon LOVES the water hose.  Yesterday we were out in the yard and he decided that his new tricycle needed a good wash.  He's such a cute little mess!  Check out his blonde spots…they're getting lighter for sure and we get comments on how cute they are all the time.  I think they're pretty cute!  Happy Friday!

Fun "Fall" Weekend!

It's officially Autumn...fall...my favorite season filled with football, visits to the pumpkin patch, trick or treating, chicken pot pie, cool weather...oh wait, seems that Mother Nature is confused because this past "fall" weekend was a scorcher!

Jim went to Texas with the guys to cheer on the Razorbacks!  They had a great time...I have a feeling there are stories I'll never hear...and Jim's still exhausted from the trip! :)

While Dada was gone Landon and I had a fun weekend filled with cleaning, playing, decorating the front porch for fall and Halloween, playdates with Burke and even a trip to the fair with Burke and her Mommy and Daddy.  Landon loved the fair!!  We rode the merry-go-round and the teacups, visited the cattle barn, saw some baby ducks sliding down a slide and some brand new baby pigs and we visited the petting zoo...which was Landon's very favorite part of the day!  I got to eat a corndog and some smoochies and all was right in the world...except that I was a sweaty mess because again, Mother Nature is confused and is once again not my friend.

Here are some fun pictures from our fun weekend!

We had a playdate at our house on Saturday.  They enjoyed some crackers during the game and it was impossible to get a picture with both of them smiling!  Aren't they precious!?

Then we went to the fair on Sunday afternoon and Landon had fun on the merry-go-round!

Wheeee!

How'd you get out of your cage little goat?

What's with the crazy eyes man?

Hey dude...take the carrots not my hand!

This was mommy's favorite...how cute is this!!!?

You can try all you want but we're not going to pose or smile at the same time!  Get us out of here!

These teacups are awesome!!

Hey Burke, lets hold hands!

No Landon, I don't want to hold your hand!

Mom, I thought she didn't want to hold my hand...why are girls are so confusing!?
And here is a picture of our porch (or is it a "stoop"?)...newly decorated for my favorite season.  I think I'll add a few more pumpkins and maybe some more fall garland...or maybe not.  We love our new home and I've enjoyed decorating it for the season and Landon had fun helping!

Quick trip to Great Mama and Papa's House!

A few weekends ago Landon and I dropped dada off in Fayetteville for the Alabama game (such a sad game!) and then we headed to Kansas!  Landon and Great Papa had so much fun riding the four wheeler and picking apples off the apple tree!  I forgot my big camera and I've lost my point and shoot…also sad, because I love that camera!!  Luckily my phone takes pretty good pictures!  We love visiting Great Mama and Papa's house and can't wait to go back in December!
