Bunnies!

Landon and MK got to visit the bunnies at Mr. Joel's again this year! And to my surprise the kids and the bunny behaved very well ...we got so many cute pictures!! MK loved holding the bunny! I really couldn't believe it. I thought she would be a little scared and Landon, as we all know, is just ornery. He acted nice though and enjoyed feeding the bunny a carrot. His favorite part was most definitely playing Super Mario Brothers on the Nintendo while MK and I picked out pictures.

We have a fun Easter weekend ahead of us! If the rain holds off we'll play soccer in the morning and then we will go to an Easter Egg hunt with friends. Sunday we'll go to mass and the brunch with family. Happy Easter!

L-A-N-D-O-N

Landon can spell his name! We've been working on letters and Jim's been working on teaching Landon to spell his name. I honestly didn't realize he could do it until tonight when he just spouted it out during bath time! I don't know how he officially learned but he has and as you'll hear from my screechy "yaaaaaaay" at the end of this video I was so proud of our ornery guy!!!

*Update*Nana and Landon have been working on his name by making it a rhyme! Thanks Nana!! I was just so excited to hear our dude spell his name!!

Soccer!

Well, it's too early to tell whether Landon is going to like soccer or not. He had his first go at it this past Saturday and he went from running and trying to play to "needing a rest" to just not wanting to play in general and then back to playing. Jim took him to what they call skills and drills Monday night so he could learn more but he apparently wasn't too into it. Soooooo...this might be a super long 8 week soccer season! Hopefully he will come around and start catching on and enjoying it soon!

A Trip To Texas

We drove to Dallas over President's Day weekend to visit our friends the Wades. It had been a while since we'd made the trip and we had such a fun visit! Blakely's 4th birthday party was at a place like Jump Zone while we were there and the kids had a great time playing! All the kids are growing up so fast and we are so proud of our adorable goddaughters. They are sweet young ladies and we can't wait to see them again soon!!
While we were there I also got to see one of my very best friends, Scarlette!! I miss her so much and we had a great visit at one of my favorites, Cafe Brazil! Sadly I didn't get a picture of us together at breakfast!

MK had her baby, a snack, juice and got to watch a movie in the car for the first time! She loved it and did so well on the trip!!

Landon is super ornery these days. I think I've mentioned it a time or two. He did ok on the ride too but was not interested in having his picture made!!

Mommy and Daddy love road trips!!

The kids watched a movie and MK was right in the big middle like the big kids!

They played games in their jammies!

MK loved all the toys!!!

Sweet Buddy is the best dog ever! He is so tolerant and MK was his biggest fan!!

They played the Wii!

Landon loved the birthday party...Daddy took MK down the slide. She wasn't a huge fan.

We went to mass and MK ran wild before! Neither kid did any better at mass in Texas than they do in LR. Sigh.

After mass we went out to eat at Mi Cocina and we got this picture outside the restaurant!

We had such a fun trip and can't wait to visit again!
